Spray Tan FAQ

What do I need to do before my first spray tan?

∙ Exfoliate your skin 24 hours before your booking.

∙ Avoid using any perfume, oils, or lotions.

∙ Waxing, manicure, and pedicure should be done before booking, optimally 24 hours prior.

∙ Prepare to wear loose-fitting dark clothes at your appointment to avoid the tans rubbing off.

∙ Avoid moisture including sweating and the rain to avoid streaks and uneven tans.

What do I need to do after my spray tan?

∙ Wait until the set time to rinse as instructed by the tan artist. At the time to rinse, use lukewarm water with NO soap to wash off the bronzer. Focus on the spot that may need additional attention such as behind the legs, shoulders, etc. Once the bronzer is washed off, wait until 12 hours for the tans to fully develop.

What do I wear during the tan?

∙ We will provide a hair net and disposable underwear. You can wear whatever you are comfortable with!

When is the best time to book an appointment before an event?

∙ Two to three days are optimum.

How long do my tans will last?

∙ 5-7 days and may be longer depending on the skin complexion.

Will my tans stain the sheets and clothes?

∙ We suggest taking careful measures before rinsing the bronze off as the tans may stain the sheets and clothes. We suggest to wear loose-fitting dark clothes for this reason.

Are pregnant women allowed to get tans?

∙ There is no evidence that DHA in spray tans is harmful to pregnancy as it is applied to the outermost layer of the skin. We suggest consulting your healthcare provider before booking.
